The day, as they ran it
  1. 8:30 am1
Skipass Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta, day ticketMadonna di Campiglio

Campiglio is on the Skirama Dolomiti pass, not Dolomiti Superski — a Val Gardena pass is worth nothing here, which catches people who resort-hop. Park at Campo Carlo Magno rather than in town if you are driving; the Grostè lot empties last.

    20 min walk · 1.5 km
  2. 8:50 am2
Grostè gondola from Campo Carlo MagnoMadonna di Campiglio

Four cabin lifts leave the valley — Cinque Laghi, Pradalago, Grostè and Spinale — and they do not all serve the same snow. Grostè is the highest and holds the best morning cold; go there first every time and work back down the valley through the day.

  3. 9:30 am3
The high Grostè reds under the Brenta towersMadonna di Campiglio

Wide, sunny, mostly easy reds with the Brenta group standing up on your left — this is the sector to do laps in rather than cross once. It is also exposed: if the wind is up at the top station, drop straight to Spinale instead.

  4. 11 am4
Coffee at Rifugio Boch, Grostè mid-stationMadonna di Campiglio

Sits right at the mid-station, so it is a stand-at-the-bar espresso and a slice of strudel, not a sit-down. Save the appetite for Chalet Fiat.

    15 min walk · 1.1 km
  5. 12:30 pm5
Lunch at Chalet Fiat, top of SpinaleMadonna di Campiglio

There are two operations under one roof — a big self-service and a proper restaurant with a view straight across at the Grostè. Book the restaurant side; the self-service is fine but it is not why you flew to Trentino. Ask for a window table facing the Brenta.

    9 min walk · 650 m
  6. 2:15 pm6
Canalone Miramonti, the 3Tre night-slalom pitchMadonna di Campiglio

The World Cup slalom is raced down this under floodlights every winter and it drops you straight into the middle of town. Ski it in the afternoon shade when the surface firms back up — at midday it is a mess of soft ruts.

    20 min walk · 1.5 km
  7. 3:30 pm7
Cinque Laghi for the last lapsMadonna di Campiglio

The steepest sector and the least busy at the end of the day. Skip it entirely if you want a bath before dinner — the Zeledria snowcat does not wait.

    10 min walk · 750 m
  8. 7 pm8
Snowcat up to Cascina Zeledria for the hot rockMadonna di Campiglio

You are collected by snowcat in the dark and driven up to a farmhouse off the Pradalago Facile piste, where meat arrives raw on a searing stone and you cook it at the table. Book several days ahead and confirm the pickup point when you do — it is a locals' institution, not a tourist show, and the transfer is the part people get wrong.
